Welcome and thank you for exploring our stories.
Our names are Amanda and Brittany van Frankfoort and we are 29-years-old. We are proud graduates of Carleton University’s prestigious Journalism Program from which we graduated with high-distinction earning Bachelor degrees in Journalism with minors in Communications and English.
We are the co-founders, co-owners and co-content producers of our own video journalism company predicated on producing meaningful storytelling in the areas of inclusion and equity, sports, entertainment and stories of interest to the sports community through video, short documentaries and interview content.
Proudly, some career highlights include: three Super Bowl Media Weeks (LVII, LVIII, LIX) and one Super Bowl Game (LIX); Olympic and Paralympic Staging Camps with Swimming Canada; two Dallas Cowboys Pre-season Training Camps; Men's World Indoor Lacrosse Championships; Women's U19 World Lacrosse Championships; and more.
In 2017 we began Timeout with the Twins to share unique human interest stories demonstrative of the transcendent power of sports and entertainment. As a two-woman team, from inception to dissemination we enthusiastically take care of all levels of production for our videos including: coordinating, filming, editing, colour grading, audio mixing, disseminating, marketing, posting and more.
As entrepreneurs and freelancers the success of our storytelling is predicated on our ability to: build rapport and trust with athletes and high-ranking professionals in athletic organizations; work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; continually ideate creative and engaging content concepts; hold our work to a high standard; develop meaningful relationship with audiences and strive for equality and diversity in our content.
As life long athletes our passion for sports runs deep. We began playing football and soccer at the age of 5 and haven't spent a summer off of a football field since. Between the two of us we've suffered a concussion, four ruptured ACL, four torn menisci, a broken elbow, four broken fingers, a deltoid tear and a third-degree ankle sprain. But we can't wait to get back on the field.
